Yana Posemeynik, DMD


Biography

For the last 19 years Dr. Yana Posemeynik practiced the full scope of general dentistry at Massachusetts General Hospital. Dr. Posemeynik has tremendously enjoyed teaching general practice dental residents and had been on the faculty of Harvard School of Dental Medicine since 2004.

Originally from upstate NY, Dr. Posemeynik attended Boston University where she majored in psychology and biology, graduating Cum Laude, before earning her DMD from Tuft University School of Dental Medicine in 2003, where she was awarded Dr. and Mrs Albert J. Kazis Endowed Prize Fund in Crown and Bridge. She completed her General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Dr. Posemeynik strives to provide the best quality of dental care to all her patients, has experience with a medically compromised population and those with dental anxiety and special needs.  The most rewarding aspect of her career has been building relationships with patients and she views being entrusted with patients’ dental care as a true privilege.

Dr. Posemeynik has been recognized by her peers and honored by Boston Magazine every year since 2017, when this award was created.

When not in the office, Dr. Posemeynik spends all her time with her husband and 2 girls, going to the beach, traveling, and playing piano.
